I am currently in Mexico visiting my family so I wanted today’s post to be fun and simple. I love answering tags so I thought I summer tag would be great. I found this tag on LifeThroughTSG so make sure to check her’s out as well!!
Out of all the seasons, summer is my least favorite because I cannot stand the heat (I live in Texas!). However, I still try to enjoy the summer as much as I can. Also, my birthday is in August so that’s awesome! Anyway, let’s get right into the tag. Enjoy!! Continue reading
I am up pretty early this Sunday. I have a candle lit and listening to a new album I just purchased – Being No One, Going Nowhere by STRFKR – so it’s a pretty great morning for me! The “theme” for this Sunday’s post is Summer Fun because this summer has definitely been one of the most fun I have had in a long time!!
This week especially has been super fun!! Keep reading to check out how my Fourth of July went and to get more details on my upcoming trip. Enjoy! Continue reading
Today’s Sit Back Sunday is going up late because I’ve just been hanging out with my family all day long! My mom, dad, and sister got back from Mexico last night so we’ve been catching up on their vacation. I’m glad they are back but also kind of sad that I won’t have the house to myself anymore.
I really made sure to enjoy this last week on my own!! Continue reading
I am feeling very motivated this Sunday morning and one of the reasons is because I watched a few of Kalyn Nicholson‘s videos, which motivate me a lot!! She is actually one of the reasons why I became obsessed with YouTube videos and why I started my blog!! Before I let y’all in on my week, I have decided to change my blogging schedule just a tiny bit. I know I had established a schedule already this past Monday, but I wasn’t really comfortable with it. So now I will be blogging Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. I have decided that I will use my Saturdays to take pictures and plan posts so that I don’t feel the stress of have to take pics on posting days. I am hoping that by dedicating a day to planning, Makeup & Flowers will be even better!
So onto my week!! If you follow me on Snapchat, you will know that I went to Shreveport and stayed at Sam’s Town. Continue reading
So I shared my Florida vacation with you so now I’m going to share about my vacation in Mexico.
I had so much fun visiting my family, especially my little cousins! (They are so cute!😊)
I finally saw my completed house and it makes going to Mexico feel more like home because I actually have my own room. I enjoyed waking up and having a such a beautiful view from the kitchen.
I also had the most amazing T-Bone steak from a place named Mariscos Chilo. It was so full of flavor and it makes me hungry just thinking about it!!
We spent most of the afternoons hanging around the house which I did not mind because it was a wonderful place to get away from everything. Since there was no wifi and barely any cell service, it really did help get mind away from work, school, and everyday life and just connect with my family. During the second week, I did, unfortunately, get food poisoning which was weird because I can usually stomach the food from over there. It was horrible but with the help of a shot and a delicious tea, I slowly got better. Luckily I got better in time for my delicious steak ( I was def not going to miss that!! It was so much fun and I really can’t wait to go back!!😃
I just got back from the most wonderful place, Destin, FL!!! I went there with my boyfriend and his family for a week and I had a blast! I got to see dolphins, ride on a speed boat. Most of all I got to enjoy the beautiful beach. I would go a bit further than most people, along with my bf of curse, and we would just jump them as they came to us! It was such a blast! Our condo was well decorated and by the second day I felt at home.
View from Condo
Although it rained for a day or two, once the sun was out the water was this beautiful emerald color and I could see the sand at the bottom of the ocean! Since there was some pretty good waves, my favorite activity was jumping them.
Hanging out Indoors
It also happened to be 4th of July weekend so we saw gorgeous fireworks from the beach! I actually could not believe that people popped fireworks right there on the beach.
I had so much fun in Florida!!! Now, though, I am getting ready to go to my second vacuum this summer. In a day I leave to Mexico to finally see my families completed house and spend some quality time with my family from over there. I will also take picture to show you all!
I hope y’all are having as much fun this summer as I am!
