August is here which means to things: 1) my birthday month is here and 2) it’s time for my July favorites!! This July has been super eventful and so much fun. I went to Mexico to visit my family and I had such a great time. I went by airplane for the very first time and it was pretty cool!!
The other exciting thing about July was that I decided to take an online blogging course to better my blogging. I am still taking the course but I have learned so much already. I have decided to change a few things up a bit on Makeup & Flowers. I have decided to solely talk about makeup because it is what I am most passionate about and it also seems to be my most popular topic. I will probably talk about skincare and other beauty but it will mostly be makeup.
I am super excited to change things up a bit and hope you like it!! Anyway, let’s get into my favorites for the month of July. Enjoy!! Continue reading
We all have email subscriptions to our favorite stores and every now and then there are amazing deals that you just can’t pass on!! That is exactly how I got my hands on the Classic Courage Palette by Tarte. One morning I was checking my emails and when I saw that as a Platinum Member I could get this palette for $19 I just had to get it!!
This was my first Tarte purchase, I had always wanted to try it but I never really got around to it. I was super excited when it arrived at my house, I immediately swatched all the colors. I’ve had this palette now for about a month so keep reading to see my thoughts on this Tarte palette. Enjoy!! Continue reading
I have heard many say that cream makeup is better than powder makeup for the colder months. While I don’t want to avoid powder makeup during this time, I thought it would be a great time to experiment with cream blush and bronzer.
For a couple of years I have had my eyes on the e.l.f. Contouring Blush & Bronzer duo but I would have to buy it online and basically have an e.l.f. haul but for some reason I never got around to buy the duo. When I saw that it was at Target I got it right away but since it was still hot, I live in Texas, I really didn’t want to use it. Now that it is more chilly I got time to test it out. Keep reading to find out my thoughts on this cream blush/bronzer duo. Enjoy!
