Fourth of July is right around the corner and I am very excited to celebrate with my family popping fireworks, swimming, and eating delicious food. One of my favorite ways to embrace any holiday is to paint my nails accordingly!

I absolutely love this holiday, I love cooking, spending time with family, and of course, eating!!! Every year my mom helps me make the turkey while we watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Currently our turkey is in the oven so I wanted to share with you all my nails for this holiday. At first I wanted to go for more traditional colors but I think the deep blue looks great with the gold accent nail, I think it adds a chic twist!! Continue reading
Happy Labor Day!!
Now I know there is a rule out there that says not to wear white after Labor Day. I’ll be honest, when I was little I thought it was a crime to wear white after Labor Day but then I just found out it was a small rule someone out there made. Well I’m here to break that rule with this cute manicure that I think is the perfect mani for the Summer to Fall transition. Keep reading to see my cute mani and which nail polishes I used! Enjoy!
For a while I had wanted a white nail polish and I finally got one in August. As soon as I got it, I started thinking of cute mani combos and I thought of white nails with a gold, chunky glitter nails. Continue reading
One fun fact about me is that I have only even gone to a salon two times to get my nails done. Both those times they where to get acrylics, once when I turned 15 and the other time a year ago. I swore off acrylics after the second time because I realized that I love to switch up my nail color very often and taking those nails off is painful!!
I’ve never gone to the salon to simply get my nails painted because I absolutely love painting my own nails and catching up on my shows while I wait for them to dry. Over the years I have slowly gotten better at painting them and by now I have a pretty good collection of nail polishes so I wanted to share my top 5 favorite nail polishes with you, maybe we even share the same favorite!
As some of you may know, I love to paint my nails especially for holidays! For this Christmas I wanted to have my nails simple but still with a bit of flare.
I decided to go for bright red nails with gold and red glitter on the accent nail. Keep reading to see what nail polishes I used to create this Christmas Mani. Enjoy!
For these nails I prepped with my Formula X polishes.
The bright red nail polish I used over all the nails is Ruby Ruby by Sinful Colors.
For the accent nails I mixed a Red Glitter polish by e.l.f. Cosmetics and Summit of Style by Essie. I accidentally painted the accent nails red, and I didn’t want to remove the nail polish, I made sure to not put a lot of the polish on but still make sure I had enough glitter chunks. I did this my placing a blob of the glitter polish then I took off the access and spread the polish I had on the nail.
I then finished it off my putting a top coat on my nails.
I hope you like this nail design and I thinking is such a simple yet cute mani!
This past year I got really into nail art and I love to do cute things for the holidays. After looking for inspiration on Thanksgiving themed nails, I came across one that I really liked and did my own twist on it.
So they are not perfect but, hey, I am still new to this nail art thing. I really like the nails and the most complicated part of it was the detail on the pilgrim’s hat.
It is almost Halloween and I am excited. I am not going to dress up but I was watching Halloween nail art tutorials by Cutepolish and I had to try the bloody nail design since it looked pretty easy to do.
This is my take on the bloody nail art. I am obsessed!
I used three nail polishes for this look. Ruby Ruby by SinfulColors which is a bright red. Cinna-Snap by Sally Hansen, I used this one to darken the bright red polish a bit. All over my nail I am wearing Satin Ribbon by Pure Ice which is a very sheer pink. I already had this on and I decided to keep the color on because it looked pretty natural. I also used a dotting tool that I got from Jafra.
I am so happy with how my nails came out and they are perfect for Halloween! Below is the Cutepolish video, she features a total of 10 Halloween nail art looks.
What is your favorite Halloween nail art?
I love painting my nails and I love the fall season so when putting the two together this fall mani came to mind. I love this look because of the sparkles! I love it and it can, in a way, represent the falling leaves this season.
For this mani I used my Formula X System to prep my nails. Continue reading
I decided to paint my nails are more autumn look and loved the way it turned out so I wanted to share it with y’all. I went for a slight autumn look since it is still pretty hot and I want to save all the actual autumn look for when it is chilly outside!
For this look I used the Formula X System by Sephora for all the prep. This system works great and keeps my mani lasting for over a week!! Continue reading
