Having specific goals is the key to success!! What also helps is breaking down goals. My main goal is to lose weight and be healthy. That is a pretty vague goal but if I break it down smaller and get specific, it will help me reach my main goal.

Do any of you remember that story with the tortoise and the fox? They race and the fox is sure he is going to win so he takes a rest and doesn’t take the race seriously. On the other hand, the tortoise takes the race seriously and even though he is slower than the fox he ultimately wins the race. Weightloss is similar to this story, you want to be the tortoise and not the fox.

It’s been a while since I have done a “Healthy Me” post and I wanted to do one again but I wasn’t really sure what to talk about. Lately I don’t feel like I am healthy or like I am trying hard to reach my goals. I almost felt like the wrong person to be writing about being healthy. I was feeling this way until I realized that for someone like me, that has a bit of an unhealthy relationship with food, can give some insight and maybe someone out there feels the same and now they know they are not alone. When trying to lose weight or just live a healthier life working out is essential! While many go to the gym or have gym equipment where they live and enjoy working out in with that equipment, to me it gets boring quick!
In order to workout out frequently you need to find an activity that you enjoy. So for example, if I get on a treadmill I dread every minute and probably won’t use it the next day so it’s just a disservice to me. Because of this I have decided to share the what workouts I do that make working out fun for me. Enjoy!
