Red, White, & Blue

Fourth of July is right around the corner and I am very excited to celebrate with my family popping fireworks, swimming, and eating delicious food.  One of my favorite ways to embrace any holiday is to paint my nails accordingly!

Red, White & Blue Nail Polish

This year I decided to give my nails a Fourth of July design and I thought I’d share the look with you.  The nail design that I went for is super simple and easy enough to do last minute!!  Keep reading to see my red, white, & blue nail design! Enjoy!

I got inspiration for my nail look from various fashion bloggers.  I’ve seen plenty of posts where they color block their outfits with red, white, & blue colors and I thought that would also look great on nails.

For my nails I alternated the three colors starting on my right pinkie with red.  This color block design is simple but festive at the same time!!

Red, White & Blue Mani

I prepped my nails using the Formula X prep polishes that I always use.  The red polish I used was Festive by L.A. COLORS.  For the white, I used Blanc by Essie.  I honestly would not recommend this white nail polish because it is super streaky, even with two coats.  If you know if a great white polish, let me know in the comments below!!  Finally, I used After School Boy Blazer by Essie for the blue color.  This polish is a midnight blue which I really like because it makes the mani a bit more laid back and not in your face Fourth of July.  I also just love how the darker blue looks along with the red and white.  Of course, you could always go for a brighter blue if you wish to do so!

This is a great mani if you want a quick and easy design for the Fourth of July and I hope you give it a try!!
