We all have email subscriptions to our favorite stores and every now and then there are amazing deals that you just can’t pass on!! That is exactly how I got my hands on the Classic Courage Palette by Tarte. One morning I was checking my emails and when I saw that as a Platinum Member I could get this palette for $19 I just had to get it!!
This was my first Tarte purchase, I had always wanted to try it but I never really got around to it. I was super excited when it arrived at my house, I immediately swatched all the colors. I’ve had this palette now for about a month so keep reading to see my thoughts on this Tarte palette. Enjoy!!
This palette is a day to night, eyeshadow and blush combo. The first thing that impressed me was the packaging. It’s very sturdy and I honestly think the eyeshadows are very well protected. It comes with a mirror and I love the little saying “She dreamed, She believed, & She succeeded,” it is very encouraging every morning when I do my makeup to see those words!
I fell in love with the eyeshadow colors right away. Smokey browns and champagne pink colors are my favorite when it comes to eyeshadow. While I was excited to try out the eyeshadows, I didn’t have the same feeling for the blush. The blush color is a matte deep rose color, which I would have never gone for so I thought I was not going to reach much for this blush.
I did my makeup using the palette and I absolutely loved the look I came up with using all the eyeshadows. They all work together great and because there are both lights and darks, you can go as natural or as smokey as you want!! When it came time for the blush I was a bit nervous but once I saw it on my cheeks, I loved the look!! This blush color makes me feel sultry and it really ties in great with the eyeshadows.
By now you can probably guess that I highly recommend this palette!! It is really pretty and amazing. It has been my go to palette for the past month and the colors work great year round!! You can get this palette at Ulta for $28 here!
The eyeshadows are (from top to bottom) rise & shine, rosy outlook, lucky penny, trailblazer, smile on and the very last shade is the blush.
Have you tried this palette yet? If so what are your thoughts on it?
