Christmas is officially less than a week away and today I thought I would share with you my top five favorite Christmas movies to really get you in the Holiday spirit. Enjoy!!
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas: I remember my mom got my sister this movie in VHS and it’s always been one of my favorites! We later had the DVD but you can also find this movie on Netflix. I love this movie because for one, I LOVE Disney, and second it’s a about four short little Christmas episodes. This movie is really cute and I think the perfect movie for Disney lovers and those with children!
Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas: Yes, the second version on this movie, I love it as well. This one features 5 Christmas stories and what I like is that in the first movie there’s a story about Goofy and a young Max, his son. In this version, Max is all grown up. I also highly recommend this movie! This movie can also be found on Netflix.
Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer: This one remind me of when I was in grade school and we would be out for the Christmas break. I was old enough to not have a baby sitter, because I live very close to all my family, and my sister and I would watch cartoons all day and one of my favorites is Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. I like the song but I mostly like this movie because it reminds me of a time when things were much simpler. I only get to watch this movie when it comes on Cartoon Network and I haven’t tried looking for it on Netflix.
The Polar Express: I think this movie is super cute and very adventurous. It helps reassure kids that Santa is real. There is a hot chocolate scene in the movie that is my favorite and when I was little I didn’t really have hot chocolate and this was probably the reason why I started drinking hot chocolate!
Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (TV Special): This is another movie I would watch a lot on Cartoon Network during my Christmas Break in grade school. I really do like the cartoon version of this movie better because I get sad at the begging of the other version when the little Grinch get teased. I, of course, love the song “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.” This is great movie that spreads Holiday cheer.
Those are my top 5 favorite Christmas movies. If you couldn’t tell they are all animated probably because I’m a child at heart when it comes to Christmas and I fell like they are simple and will for sure get you in the Christmas spirit.
