I have heard many say that cream makeup is better than powder makeup for the colder months. While I don’t want to avoid powder makeup during this time, I thought it would be a great time to experiment with cream blush and bronzer.
For a couple of years I have had my eyes on the e.l.f. Contouring Blush & Bronzer duo but I would have to buy it online and basically have an e.l.f. haul but for some reason I never got around to buy the duo. When I saw that it was at Target I got it right away but since it was still hot, I live in Texas, I really didn’t want to use it. Now that it is more chilly I got time to test it out. Keep reading to find out my thoughts on this cream blush/bronzer duo. Enjoy!
To begin I think the packaging is great! It is black which I love and it is pretty sturdy so it doesn’t feel cheap at all. It also has a huge mirror which comes in handy for touch ups.
I got this Blush & Bronzing cream in St. Lucia and that is the only color available but I think it is a color that can be word by just about everyone.
The color that is shown on the pictures makes the blush look a bit too pink but in real life the color is actually a peachy/pink tone.
What I really like about it is that it looks pretty natural on my skin especially after I put finishing powder over it. It also lasts longer than my powder blush and bronzer.
I really do think I will wear this for winters to come because it makes my face look more healthy, and dewy instead of dry which can sometimes happen when I use the powder version. I don’t think I would wear during the hotter months because it would feel to heavy on my face and probably make me sweat more.
Overall I think this is a great blush and bronzer and it works amazing considering it only costs $3. You can buy this blush/bronzer at your local grocery store or online here.
Have you tried the e.l.f. Contouring Blush & Bronzer Cream?
