In the November Birchbox I received the Parlor by Jeff Chastain Touchable Curl Cream and I really liked that I got it because anything that can tame my curly hair is great!
I have been using the Touchable Curl Cream for about a week and a half and I have some pretty strong opinions about this curl cream. Keep reading to find out my overall thoughts on this cream and to see if it is a hit or a miss. Enjoy!
This product is for curly or wavy hair and it is supposed to leave your hair silky and smooth. The key ingredients are sweet almond oil, which is supposed to protect and soften damaged hair, and jojoba and olive oils, which adds shine, elasticity and also adds shine.
The product has a very clean smell to it which a like because some hair creams tend to have very perfume-y scents to them which I don’t really like.
Another great thing about this curl cream is that the cream is very light and not think so it doesn’t weight down my hair!
I tend to shower at night and most of the time I go to bed with my hair still wet, I don’t know if that is bad. As you can imagine I wake up with a MAJOR bed head!! The great thing about this hair cream is that when I wake up and only have a bit of frizz but my curls are defined. After seeing this I fell in love with the product because it makes styling my hair much easier!! I also put a little bit of this product to my dry hair to tame the frizz.
The Touchable Hair Cream retails at $24 for 4 oz and you can purchase it exclusively at from Birchbox here.
Overall I would definitely recommend this product for those with curly and wavy hair because it is a game changer. I love it so much!! It keeps my curls defined and minimizes frizz which is more than amazing. I am very glad I discovered this product!
