Urban Decay 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil

When I heard the Urban Decay was coming out with an eyeliner specifically for the waterline I was beyond excited!! I love to put eyeliner on my waterline when I do dramatic eye makeup because it completes the look.  The problem I have with most eyeliners is that it comes off my waterline and goes all over my under eye area.   The eyeliner also tends to get all over my contacts that it can be a pain since my vision gets all foggy.  Continue reading to find out if I have found the eyeliner of my waterline dreams or if it is just like the rest.  Enjoy!!

Urban Decay 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil in Legend | Ulta Haul

The color I got was Legend because it seemed to be the darkest shade they had.  I as already said, I was super excited to try this product and I was honestly let down.  When I put the liner on my waterline, the color was more of a dark gray shade and it was not as intense as I like my eyeliner to be.  I put it on around 6 am and by 9 pm I had no eyeliner left on my waterline.

I had such high hopes for this eyeliner that I tried it again another day and this time I set the eyeliner with some black eyeshadow.  When I put the black eyeshadow it gave me the dark intensity that I wanted so I thought the eyeliner would stick better.  Sadly, the eyeliner came off and was all over my under eye area and I looked like a raccoon!

I had such high hopes for this product and I was sadly let down!!

I also tried to put it on as regular eyeliner on my top lid bit the formula is just too waxy so it doesn’t go on smoothly.

The waterline eyeliner retails at $20 so that is a lot for a product that doesn’t work as it say.

I would also like to say that I love the other eyeliners by Urban Decay and those work better on the waterline than this one does.

I have read some reviews and most people agree with me but some people do like the pencil.

Have you tried this eyeliner?  What are your thoughts on it?
