It is only Monday and yet I feel stressed out already! A lot of things are going on but none that are terribly bad. Juggling college, work, and a just spayed dog is somewhat a lot to handle. Alas, I am going to keep positive because tomorrow is a new day.
Today I thought I would share a few things that I like to do to unwind from a stressful day.
Two of the most important things in order for me to relax is a clean area and myself being clean. I clean my room quickly and take a quick shower before relaxing. I think this is super important because it is like washing away the stresses of the day.
Secondly, Candles!!! It makes a warm relaxing light and makes the room smell great. My favorite one right now is Pumpkin Apple by Bath and Body Works.
If I am not watching or reading I like to be on my social media like WeHeartIt or Tumblr. Usually I like to go through the funny stuff because laughter is the best medicine!! 🙂 Along with that I like to listen to some music in the background, usually soothing, indie music since it helps me wind down.
What also helps me wind down a lot is a facial mask. During this time I lay down with my mask on and just close my eyes and mediate will the mask works its magic. I found these are Marshall’s, they are amazing and make my face feel so refreshed!
